Italian Language

The Italian language is a Romance language derived from the Vulgar Latin dialect that was once spoken in the Italian peninsula. It is the official language of Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, and parts of Switzerland and Croatia. Italian is also widely spoken in other parts of the world, particularly in areas with large Italian immigrant communities.
